I asked Royce White and David Penn if they had heard of the Channel 17 team. They had not, but they had heard of Promethean Action.

At the CD3 convention, Tom Duntley, my local SD42 chair, informed me that I was the 17th alternate.

About a month later I attended the first day of the state convention in Duluth.

The whole convention was kind of a circus. DJ, dance cam, booze allowed on the convention floor, elephant mascot.

Even I was getting into it, taking the opportunity to promote Royce White from a great vantage point until the guard said I couldn't be there.

The clickers were like TV remote controls, and that's how they were doing the voting! What is the chain of custody for wireless transmitters? No way for campaigns to make sure the numbers weren't being tampered with. We were lulled into this party mindset, with the deadly serious business of government before us.

The next day, the votes were off by hundreds, and they had to reboot the computer. After the convention, the state chair said that, because of the technical problem, all candidates could run in the primary. They weren’t expected to abide by the endorsement. But then later he said they still stood behind their endorsed candidates.

I asked the Channel 17 team if they thought #ClickerGate was a psychological operation.
