2014 Christmas Blog Post

This year I uploaded historical material to the Internet, including family audio tapes, home movies, two cable TV shows I co-hosted, and a scene from a feature film my brother Scott was in.

In dance, I took 3rd in the Waltz Challenge at Mill City Ballroom, and danced in the Summer Showcase at Dancers Studio. I was the Spotlight Student there.

At work, I asked for a route cut. It’s less pay, but I prefer it because I have more time.

In politics, I attended our national meeting when it was here in town. Our candidate for Attorney General helped us regain minor party status.

I visited Madison for my cousin’s birthday, and while I was there, saw my son, his girlfriend, and other relatives.

Later I travelled to Iowa for my cousin’s son’s wedding, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. While in Iowa I visited my second cousin and her husband.

This year, we lost my uncle Dave Harper, my cousin James Harper Jr., and my dad’s cousin Andy Boss.

In October, Mom fell and had to go to the hospital. She had a low blood count, which was helped by transfusions and medication. She has moved into assisted living, to get help with bathing and cooking. In the past week, her walking, with a walker, has improved considerably.

Merry Christmas!

Copy candidates

I predict that Hillary Clinton will copy Elizabeth Warren, just as Bill Clinton copied Jerry Brown.
