Barkley is a fearmonger

I will probably vote for Bill McGaughey of the Independence Party, but not Dean Barkley. Barkley fearmongers the national debt, when really we just need to monetize it. We just need to reclaim our sovereign right to issue our own money. We just need to make our Federal Reserve truly Federal, and pay off interest-bearing bonds with interest-free dollars. By hyping the fear surrounding the national debt, Barkley plays into the hands of the private banking cartel.

Also, I don't think it was right that Ventura appointed Barkley to complete Wellstone's term. That seat was earned by Democrats, and they had a right to serve the full six years. Jesse's move capitalized on a tragedy.

Here's another problem I have with the Independence Party. Recently, one of them wrote:

"The Green Party is not the same as the Independence Party. The Independence Party stands for moderate views and consensus building across the ideological divide. The Green Party's views are extreme and do not represent the silent moderate majority of Americans."

The IP then is ideologically rudderless. The GP is truth-based. I would argue that it's good to be extremely truth-based, whether or not you are in the majority. How will we ever get by without the truth?
