Libby verdict in a nutshell

What’s the most concise way of describing the Scooter Libby verdict? Maybe some of you have some thoughts. Here’s one possibility:

Libby was convicted of obstructing justice, the probable fall guy in a Bush administration plan to treasonously expose the identity of a CIA agent to cover-up and retaliate against her husband for refuting the reasons for going to war in Iraq.

Can you convey the meaning in fewer words?

The laws against exposing CIA agents, were made against the left. The left shouldn't care that an agent was exposed.

Libby's lawyer started his defense saying he is a fall guy for rove, yet Rove was never called.

Interesting. So you don't think Valerie Plame is one of the good guys?

I think the Plamegate issue is poison for a leftist to be involved in. The law was written against ex-CIA agent Phillip Agee, who developed a conscience, and quit the CIA, for overthrowing progressive govts.

See you Sunday at the antiwar demo.

Yes, I plan to be there.

Looked up Agee on Wikipedia. Sounds like a fascinating book.
