Paula Pentel is not related to Ken, but Ken strongly endorses her based on her past record and knows her.
(My response)
The council ballot says vote for up to two. Bursch is not campaigning. "Clausen believes the city's deer herd should be thinned." I can’t remember when I’ve seen a deer in Golden Valley. I think I’ll vote for Pentel and Scanlon.
* Green mentions "un-funded federal and state government mandates" so maybe she would be against "No Child Left Behind." * Hooker is a union president. * Magnuson has taught English as a Second Language (ESL). * Walsh and I worked at the same company 15 years ago. He got me interested in chess and MPR. http://www.rdale.k12.mn.us/dist/news/performances_pdfs/8-05perf.pdf

For school board, I’m leaning toward these four:
* Green mentions "un-funded federal and state government mandates" so maybe she would be against "No Child Left Behind."
* Hooker is a union president.
* Magnuson has taught English as a Second Language (ESL).
* Walsh and I worked at the same company 15 years ago. He got me interested in chess and MPR.

Looks like all of my choices won except for Hooker.
