Sounds like that Armstrong Williams was trying to strong-arm the media by passing off the Bush side as news. I’m glad they said today they weren’t going to do it any more, but I still don’t trust them.
Ok, from Williams' apology, it sounds like he took advertising money from the Department of Education and then promoted their so-called "No Child Left Behind" act in his column. The Latin term "quid pro quo" means "something for something" and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
