Awesome West Wing episode

Tonight’s episode of West Wing had all of my favorite things – hybrids, wind power, bloggers, even chess! If only Jed Bartlet were President. At least we have them as a sort of shadow government!

Yes, your earlier email had a link to NOAA. This one from Calgary looked a little easier to read. I can believe that side effects are possible, but I just think that as long as the world is livable, wind will be with us. Intuitively I just don’t feel that the impact from windmills would be that significant, and even if it is, it has to be a hell of a lot better than what we have now. I also believe that we have no choice, by process of elimination. The oil will run out, nuclear radiation is too deadly, and hydrogen fuel cells are nothing more than liquid batteries.

Hey Tom,

Ryan posted a link about HR 1258 relative to the "School of Americas," and it reminded me of your song. I thought I should point you to his link since it's obviously something you are concerned about and have given some thought to.

Hey Tom,

What's this nonsense I hear that Nader filed his petition for a recount in New Hampshire without a check? Is the Secretary of State lying? Or is Nader just the scoundrel I always thought he was? Pretend you are going to pay for a recount, so no one else will before the filing deadline and then make a PR stunt out of it to boot. It actually does sound like a Nader stunt. Pseudo-advocate he is. Hopefully I will have to apologize for that statement, but I doubt it.

I can’t say that I’ve heard on that one. Nader’s site hasn’t been updated since the 19th. They issued a call for more funds for the recount effort so I sent $25. Maybe they’re out of money, maybe they’re taking a break for Thanksgiving weekend, but I highly doubt they would want to spoil the recount. I can ask around a little but that’s about it. Was somebody else ready to step forward with the money?

Thanks also for the SOA info, found your lyrics but not Ryan’s link though.

Ah, darn it, sorry!!!

My hyperlink option in Blogger doesn't work in my browser , so I always copy the html code out of my song link and then manually paste it in. I think paste the URL in where the song URL was. But I guess I was half asleep this time and only replaced the text part and forgot to paste the URL in. Duh, Sheryl!!!OK, take two. Sorry about that.

Thanks. The Nader campaign reports that so far the count in NH was accurate. Lots of troubling reports in OH and FL, though. Hightower has a good article in his newsletter. I’m adding a comment to the "Election Fraud" post.
